Welcome on ECREINetwork

ECREINetwork project merges 6 European regions: Rhône-Alpes, Lombardia, Bade-Wurtemberg, Andalucia, Ile-de-France and Malopolska.

This project is in keeping with a European commission’s Environment Directorate-general call for proposals. This call for proposals concerns the application of the Eco-Technologies Action Plan (ETAP) and more precisely the conception of funding instruments in the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme (CIP).

These instruments could be implemented through the CIP. ECREINetwork should improve the knowledge about existing instruments at the European, national and regional levels. It should also develop the regional offer concerning financial instruments for SMEs which want to invest in eco-innovative projects. The project will be organized around 2 interregional workshops (1st of June in Stuttgart and 16th of October in Sevilla) and a final conference, which will allow presenting the project results (14th of December in Milan).

In the long term, ECREINetwork aims to become the reference network for regional support in the field of eco-innovation. Its development could be helped through the different European programmes which exist during the 2007-2013 period.
